A short/unfinished experimental game made in less than 36 hours for the iThrive Empathy Game Jam.

The purpose of this prototype was to implement an animation-dialogue system that would allow the models to express emotion with their dialogue that the players can begin to interpret and empathize with. 

The Duck Path Inn is a repository of impactful emotional experiences that exists in the head space of the narrator. 

This short sequence focuses on Ometta a worker at the Duck Path Inn. Ometta is over worked and over stressed, but she believes that the must appear fine from the perspective of her customers and her employers. Ometta sees her emotions as bad and must be overcome and pushed aside. The purpose of this sequence is to highlight the sharing of emotions evoked by empathy. Empathy is seeing Ometta and thinking, "you're not the only one that feels that way. I understand what you are going through. Its okay to feel."
